How do I make a reservation with Merit Limousine?
To make a reservation scheduled for more than 12 hours from now, you may:
Complete an online reservation form or call us at the reservation number. For
reservations within the next 12 hours you must call the reservation number.
Where do I meet my chauffeur at the Airport?
For Domestic Arrivals your chauffeur will meet you at the Baggage Claim Level
or designated Meeting Area. For International Flights your chauffeur will meet
you at the Customs Exit or designated Meeting Area. Your chauffeur will be
holding a Merit Limousine sign with your name on it. If you do not see your
chauffeur, please call 1-877-556-3748 or 201-600-4715 to contact our Dispatch
Office 24 hours a day. This will avoid a charge for a No-Show.
When does waiting time charge apply for pickup at the Airport?
Merit Limousine rarely charges for waiting time at the airport, because most
passengers are leaving the airport within 30 minutes. We give passengers on a
domestic flight 30 minutes free waiting time from the time the flight lands, and
for international flights we give 60 minutes free waiting time from the time the
flight lands. After the free waiting time we charge for waiting time in 15 minute
increments. Waiting time charge is equal to vehicle hourly rate, for example,
luxury sedan hourly rate is $60 so for 15 minutes waiting time the charge is $15.
What if my flight is late?
Our chauffeurs monitor all flights before they leave our location and adjust the
time they leave accordingly. There are times that the chauffeur has checked the
flight and everything is on time only to find out upon arriving at the airport that the
plane is delayed. Our chauffeurs will wait for your flight. If you do find out your
flight is going to be delayed, please call our office, anytime day or night and we
will get in touch with the chauffeur to let him know the flight status.
Does Merit Limousine provide a baby seat?
Yes, requests for baby seat should be submitted to Merit Limousine when
booking your reservation.
What is your cancellation policy?
We have a 12 hour cancellation policy for our Sedan, SUV, and Van services
and a 96 hour cancellation policy for our Stretch Limousine services.
Cancellations after scheduled vehicle departure will be charged full fare,
including gratuity. Cancellations or changes CANNOT be made by e-mail, voice
message or fax within 12 hours of reservation departure time without a phone
conversation with the dispatcher.
What forms of payment are accepted at Merit Limousine?
Merit Limousine accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover, or American Express.
Cash is also accepted though a credit card must be given at the time of the
reservation. The credit card will only be charged if the customer does not make
the cash payment.
When my credit card will be charged?
Merit Limousine will charge your credit card after your trip has been completed.
